Follett National Bank was established in 1913 and has served
Follett and the surrounding area for the past 93 years. The first
building was located in Ivanhoe, Oklahoma and was moved to Follett,
Texas in 1919. In 1964 a new building was constructed and Follett
National Bank moved once more to its current location at 241 Main
Street.
On October 15, 1999, Follett National Bank sold to Olney
Bancshares, Inc. a holding company consisting of eight banks in
twelve locations. Follett National Bank merged with First State Bank
of Canadian, N.A. and became Follett National, a Division of First
State Bank of Canadian, N.A.
Although our name has changed, our goals remain the same. Our
officers and employees realize the importance of personal customer
service and we are dedicated to serving your banking needs.
